Operations Manager, Helsinki

HyperIn is looking for an Operations Manager to join our young and dynamic team in Helsinki.

In your role as an Operations Manager, you are responsible for managing service delivery projects of HyperIn products, customer and partner training as well as gathering requirements from customers to be used as a basis for HyperIn software development road map. In your daily work, you make sure customers are satisfied with HyperIn products, and constantly work towards improving customer service as well as HyperIn delivery and operations processes.

We expect you to have:

  • At least 1-2 years of project management experience
  • Understanding software business and previous experience of software service delivery
  • Used to working directly with customers and passionate about customer satisfaction
  • You can communicate well with external and internal stakeholders and possess good problem-solving skills
  • You are a "hands-on" type of a person who is not afraid to step outside comfort zone
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in Finnish and English
  • You are driven, energetic and care about the quality of your work
  • Interest in learning new technologies and new skills

The following are considered a plus:

  • Understanding of software development
  • Understanding of retail real estate and / or outdoor advertisement business

Software Developer, Helsinki

Your tasks include web application design and development using Java/J2EE technologies and open source components. We offer a challenging and versatile job, an opportunity to work in interesting software development projects as well as a competitive salary and good benefits.

You are the right candidate for us if you have previous software development experience and drive to constantly develop and improve your skills. You are active, systematic and care about the quality of your work. You can commit to set targets, have entrepreneurial mindset and show a positive attitude.

We expect you to have:

  • Excellent Java programming skills
  • Experience in object based design and analysis
  • Experience in implementing database based web applications in Java environments
  • Experience in designing and developing software systems
  • A relevant degree (university or equivalent)
  • Good writing and communication skills in English
  • Interest in learning new technologies and other new skills

The following are considered a plus:

  • Experience in open source web application frameworks and technologies (Struts 2, Spring, Hibernate, jQuery, Tomcat).
  • Liferay experience
  • Play Framework experience
  • J2EE application server knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dedication to Java based technologies, your work and developing your skills
  • Interest in agile software development methods
  • Linux knowledge
  • Experience in MS SilverLight applications
